first we need to know how you got involved with a sifty attorney...did you contact him?
Call another - reputable, if you can find one - lawyer for advice. Don't look for serious advice in this kind of forum which consists of ';outhouse lawyers';.
Contact the Bar association.
If you decide to take manners into your own hands, I'm sure Vice Prez Cheney would suggest quail hunting....
